COURSE DESCRIPTION

This program presents a comprehensive review and update of the current role of Computed Body Tomography for the CT Technologist with an emphasis on some of the hottest topics in multidetector CT technology. The lectures are designed to present the material from both an anatomic and pathologic approach with emphasis on CT technique and optimization of scanning protocols. Recent advances in CT application including Cardiac CT, CT angiography,Virtual Colonoscopy and three-dimensional imaging will be addressed. The role of CT in patient care and management is addressed and discussed a during the various lectures.
