Comment:

  • Additional scans through the pelvis at 3-5 minutes post injection allow adequate bladder opacification
  • Rectal contrast may be helpful for defining spread of tumor in the pelvis.
  • We are now trying dual phase (arterial/venous) imaging for staging ovarian cancer as well as to look for recurrence.
