Comment:

  • Up to 500 ml of a dilute Omnipaque solution is dripped into the bladder under gravity through a catheter.
  • The contrast consists of 30 ml of Omnipaque-350 dripped into a 500 ml bag of saline.
  • This is ideal for detecting a leak at the anastomosis in patients with a pancreatic transplant.
