Comment: Bladder distention can be done either with air or positive contrast via a foley catheter or by giving the patient a lot of water (i.e. like a pelvic u/s) to drink and waiting 30-45 minutes. To make up a solution of positive contrast add 30cc of Omnipaque-350 to a 500cc bag of saline. |
